Weeds growing along the pavement
Reported via mobile in the Obstruction category anonymously at 07:08, Sunday 7 July 2024
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6199115.
Because the pavement along this side of St Michael’s Hill is never obviously swept and cleaned, weeds have grown up next to the buildings on the eastern side of the street (right side going up) between its junction with Upper Maudlin Street / Perry Row and Horfield Road. The only pavement is on this side of the street and it’s a busy route for commuters and those visiting the hospital. The weeds are unsightly (it’s a conservation area) and a potential obstruction. Just occasional maintenance would keep it under control. There is also an enormous buddleia bush that has grown at the junction of St Michael’s Hill and Horfield Road that could do with felling before it seeds and more buddleia bushes grow up along the street.
