Blocked Drain - causing pooling water
Reported via desktop in the Flooding/Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 15:02, Tue 9 July 2024
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6209303.
This is the 3d time I am reporting this (early May and mid June reported), and I understand it has been reported numerous times by different residents over a substantial period of time. Previous ref number: 6132823. Yesterday (08/07/24) the update notification said the report has been closed and it has been fixed. You have said it has been fixed twice now. Please see the attached photo taken on 08/07/24, as you can see it CLEARLY HAS NOT BEEN TOUCHED, and I don't understand why you say it is fixed? If your map is incorrect then please use the description below. The drains on the fork of York Road and Upper Cheltenham Place are completely blocked solid with grit. It also causes pools of water to collect during even the smallest shower, at the opposite side of the road/incline. The grit is also building up against kerbs, which has been caused by your surface redressing of the road. Please unblock these drains asap.
