Grass cutting around trees

The grass outside my house has been cut twice now and not once has the grass been cut around the trees. Most recently cut yesterday 9/7/24 there were no obstructions for the mower as I watched him from my window. Why is the grass not being cut properly? No one even wanted the trees as they’re an eye sore and now the grass isn’t being maintained correctly?! It looks messy and very untidy. Surly this area should be cut with a petrol mower and not a sit on machine that can’t get close enough the tree?
