Trip hazard caused by raised pavement and broken tarmac

Reported via mobile in the Pavements category anonymously at 22:58, Thursday 11 July 2024

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6220241.

Between numbers 110 and 112 Filton Road there is a safety risk due to the pavement raising with open broken tarmac which is bigger than a tennis ball, at least 6 inches high and 6 inches wide. From the public walkway into St Gregory's Church and down to the traffic lights on the corner towards St Gregory’s Road there are multiple cracks and raised areas of pavement which are growing in size each week. Due to the education facility in the road, and the number of disabled, elderly and vulnerable residents living in the area this is now an urgent trip hazard which needs immediate attention. Also the immediate pavement area outside the gate of 112 is now dipped which is deteriorating rapidly and a large puddle forms each time there is rainfall.
