Reported via desktop in the Pavements category anonymously at 10:22, Thursday 8 August 2024
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6331001.
Please give clear reason for Council's negative response. It is out of keeping with weed clearance in other nearby areas. A copy of this report is also being referred to local councillors.
Weeds growing in gutters and breaking up road and adjoining pavement surface
This is a problem that continues to be ignored by street maintenance, but is not going away. Nearby streets with far less of a weed problem have been dealt with while the area to the south of Harbury Square, despite requests going back to May 2023 (yes, 2023) continues to be ignored, including the northern section of The Crescent, Hill Grove, and adjoining streets.
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5927432.
The problem of weeds breaking up tarred pavement and edge of road has not been dealt with. It was originally reported to B.C.C. last May 23. Please see below. Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4606418. 29/05/23 Weeds on pavements and along road gutters need treating along The Crescent, Hill Grove and surrounding streets. The growth of weeds is breaking up pavement edges (tarred last July) and roadsides. There has been no weed control in the area since November 2022.
