Speeding on Nugent Hill

Reported via mobile in the General highways enquiry category anonymously at 22:25, Tuesday 13 August 2024

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6352952.

Cars frequently break the speed limit driving up Nugent Hill which is a quiet 20 mph neighbourhood where cars are infrequent, so pedestrians cannot prepare for these cars as they are going so fast.

It’s an extremely dangerous situation with cyclists and many young children travelling twice / day often on their own to school, and younger children travelling to nursery trying to cross the road with cars flying past unexpectedly at 50 mph.

Hopefully the council can make some money by putting speed traps on the road. Thank you
