Tree damaging bridge - last report closed

Reported via desktop in the Bridges/Subways category anonymously at 08:40, Wednesday 14 August 2024

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6353625.

This is the second time of reporting this problem. The first has been closed with no action or explanation so the problem persists. Please do not close reports without first sorting the problem or at the very least, providing the promised update.

A tree, growing between the stone blocks of Frome Bridge at the end of School Lane has now grown sufficiently that it is affecting the stonework of the bridge parapet base and narrowing the already very tight access into School Lane. The tree, although aesthetically pleasing, is growing in a position that was never intended.

Please note that your map is incomplete in that School Lane, a council-adopted road that has been in existence for over 200 years is not shown.
