No road markings. Dangerous
Reported via iOS in the Road signage category anonymously at 16:34, Wednesday 4 September 2024
Sent to Bristol City Council 6 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 6436540.
I’m not sure how anyone can think this situation ‘doesn’t require further action’! Someone is going to be seriously hurt due to corner cutting coming off Clifton Rd, usually too fast. I can only assume this lack of concern is due to budgetary issues as it can’t be because it’s not dangerous. There have been multiple near-misses. Please repair, including the now worn off ‘STOP’ marking further down.

Cars speed up & down Constitution Hill. There are no 20mph repeater signs. Cut the corner from Clifton Road as there are no markings any more. I have been asking for this to be remedied for over 2 years. Please repaint the markings & put up some signs.

The Council appear to be waiting until someone is seriously hurt, because that’s where this junction is heading. Drivers not stopping & travelling in both directions too fast. Speeding down Constitution Hill. Not stopping, cutting the corners. This needs some road paint & a 20mph large sign with repeaters down & up the hill. I can’t believe there isn’t a warehouse with these in & repainting would take about an hour - if that.
