Hedge obstructing use of pavement on Clifton Down
Reported via mobile in the Obstruction blocking access category anonymously at 12:14, Sun 8 September 2024
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6448960.
The laurel hedge at the western end of the garden of Auburn House at the junction of Clifton Down and Cecil road has been obstructing at least 50% of the pavement over some 20 yards for a considerable time. I have reported it 3 times previously and the Council has closed my latest report claiming action has been taken (6396332refers), which from today’s photo shows clearly has not happened. Pedestrians are forced to walk in the road to pass each other. It is of note that other householders hedges in the street do not cause the same problem. Does anyone from the Council actually bother to walk the streets to understand the actuality of the problem.
