Light too bright, shines directly into my house

Good morning. The street light is angled so that it shines directly into the back of our house in the evenings and lights up the living room and back bedroom. Is it possible to have the light removed or repositioned, please? Or could it at least be dimmed right down, please? It's been this way for months now, but we don't notice it so much in the longer summer evenings. Now the evenings are getting dark sooner, it's very bothersome. Many thanks.
