Drain cover missing

Drain cover missing on street outside Grape and Grind shop on Gloucester Road, BS7. Potentially v dangerous.

  • If you mean the gas cover that has fallen into the pot, outside Marie Curie no.105-107, BS7 8AT, wales and west utilities say they are replacing it by Friday 12 noon, I have reported it to them twice before and all they did was lift the cover out, put it back in place and think it'fixed, so it tips up when stepped on and drops back down imho. I saw it Sunday 15th, so I escalated to a complaint not just a report yesterday morning, then checked fix my street to see if it was reported there and give their reply, I think it ought to be done sooner it's high footfall and in the middle of the pavement.

  • A new gas cover and box has already been fitted, replaced and beded in. I thought that the original poster/reporter would want to mark as fixed.
