  • Nearly a month later and still the flooding is there. Due to the blocked drain on the other side of the road as well, after the rainfall during the week, pedestrian are walking in the road to avoid getting splashed as both sides of the road flooded.

  • I tried to clear the drain this evening using some tools from home, but no luck. The drain is clogged up with silt, likely from the local building works. This is a major pedestrian route for commuters, school children and shoppers. It is dangerous...not inconvenient... DANGEROUS. People are walking into the traffic (major road) because the path is flooded. Get someone out to clear this drain please...this is not something the neighbours can clear...it needs proper tools. Raise the urgency

  • Pavement has been flooded for weeks. Pedestrians walking in the road to get past. Runoff from nearby building site may have blocked the drain.

  • During heavy rain both sides of the road now flood. Making it impossible to walk under the bridge on either pavement. As you walk in the road you are blind to traffic turning into it. My child walks this way from school.
