Faded road markings throughout Bedminster Bridge Roundabout

Reported via desktop in the Roads category anonymously at 10:13, Mon 30 September 2024

Sent to Bristol City Council 6 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 6532138.

The road markings throughout the roundabout are extremely faded, giving very little indication of appropriate lane position and bike lanes/boxes.

  • This is getting worse. People are often in the wrong lane and cutting other drivers up without realising. Only a matter of time before there’s an accident if there hasn’t been already.

  • This MUST be treated as an URGENT issue. It categorically WILL cause an accident and given high pedestrian activity there is significant risk of fatality. Repainting the road markings would go a long way to resolving this, though the ideal solution would involve the addition of clear Lane direction signage and placenames written on the lane itself. It is truly a fatal accident waiting to happen
