Drain blocked

Reported via mobile in the Flooding/Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 20:16, Thu 3 October 2024

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6549347.

The drain outside 21 is blocked with debris. You have put cones out to try and come and fix it but people keep moving them and parking so contractor can’t fix it. Maybe it needs a roadworks sign until you can fix it?

  • There has been no change to this drain in ~2 months. As you can see from photo there is a large amount of debris blocking inside the drain. The contractor tried to come and unblock but cars were in the way. I suggested you might want to put something larger to stop people parking over the drain so you can clear it. Now you are telling me it doesn’t need done. Also the yellow cones are still on the pavement. I dutifully replaced them each time an inconsiderate driver parked over the drain.
