Report 6560397 not fully fixed

Reported via desktop in the Pavements category anonymously at 12:12, Fri 18 October 2024

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6631193.

Report 6560397 was closed with the generic message: "This enquiry is now closed. No further action is required."

However, the issue has still not been fixed.

There are concrete slabs here which are either (a) visibly uneven, or (b) not visibly uneven, but where if you stand on one corner of the slab, it moves markedly down and the opposite corner of the slab moves up.

In the case of (b), when taxis etc drive on top of these slabs (as they are inclined to do, since there is no physical barrier to stop them doing so), it makes a loud noise of all the slabs moving, which can be heard in the adjacent apartments, and is disturbing, especially during unsociable hours at night.

Rather than closing this again, can this please be fixed so that the slabs are level and do not move. Please also consider putting in place a physical barrier to stop vehicles driving on these slabs, while still allowing pedestrians to freely traverse the area.

This report is now closed to updates from the public. You can make a new report in the same location. Please reference 6631193 in your new report if it is an update on this one.
