The road surface has sunk further, since the phhotograph in the report of 27th October was taken, on one corner of the patch there is now a section approximately 150mm lower than the main surface of the roadway. This section of the road has been repaired several times over the last 10 years, and theremuust be something seriously wrong in the underlying ground. This needs urgent attention as there is a danger that the road could collapse when a heavy vehicle passes over it.
