Blacked-out panels
Reported via desktop in the Street light category anonymously at 16:08, Tue 29 October 2024
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6672675.
Thanks for removing some of the blackout film from this light in response to our previous concerns that the pavement is not adequately lit. This has helped - although not completely fixed - the situation. However, there seems to be some multiple reporting going on with this street light! I'm writing on behalf of the residents of 17 and 15 Fernbank Road, the closest houses: it would be surprising to us if anyone else is significantly affected.
Following a full consultation between all residents of 17 and 15, collectively our view is that a safety issue still exists and ask that the remaining blackout be removed from both panels please.
If there are any plans to install diffuser panels, we would also request that those are suspended, please, and a dialogue opened.
