Overgrown planting forcing pedestrians closer to traffic

Reported via iOS in the Obstruction blocking access category anonymously at 08:07, Sun 10 November 2024

Sent to Bristol City Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6713849.

Both the Burger King and Petrol station have shrubs/bushes and planting that has been allowed to take up to much pavement making it impossible to walk together as two people and in places, difficult in single file.

This is particularly important pedestrian route from Bath Road around to Sainsburys and Avonmeads as Spark Evens bridge is closed and this is the alternative.

Pedestrians with buggies, and mobility vehicles as well as ordinary pedestrians should be a huge priority in the area because of the closures of this pedestrian bridge and access to safe footpath.

This is super busy junction and road network and pedestrians should feel safer.
