Request for a zebra crossing, Marsh Lane

Reported via mobile in the General highways enquiry category anonymously at 20:21, Sun 24 November 2024

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6778374.

As focus has been put onto Marsh Lane as part of the East Bristol Liveable Neighbourhood scheme, as a local resident I wish to request that this central island crossing on Marsh Lane (close to Barton House) be upgraded to a proper, more safer, crossing. Preferably a zebra crossing.

I feel this would be money better spent, rather than installing a bus gate on Marsh Lane such is proposed as part of the EBLN… especially considering that no bus services run along Marsh Lane and have not done so for years.
