Overgown and Badly Maintained Public Footpath

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 13:07, Wed 9 September 2015

Sent to Bristol City Council 3 minutes later

The footpath running along the outbound carriageway of The Portway (between West Town Road and Avonmouth Road) is badly overgrown by trees and bushes. The width of the path has been reduced as well by the grass verge growing over the path and the path itself is in a very poor state of repair with cracks and a very uneven surface. The pathway markings showing where cyclists can and cannot go have also been so worn away that they are illegible.

Updates

  • The overgrowth from the bushes has been cleared. However the footpath still has no clear cycle markings and needs resurfacing.
