Gates do not operate correctly

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6874612.

There are 2 sets of double gates but neither works as intended. Those shown in the photo, nearest Cafe on the Square: outer gate swings open and blocks the pavement, inner has to be lifted and dragged. At the far side, opposite West Parade, inner gate is OK but the other swings open and blocks the pavement.

  • A job has been raised with our contractors and appropriate work will be undertaken as soon as practicable.

  • Unfortunately we currently do not have the budget available to action this issue. However, we have made a record of this enquiry and it may be considered for future works should further funding become available.
