For at least 6 weeks a slab in the front wall (on the Wells Road) which supports a pillar has been dislodged. This has made the pillar is now unstable. As the wall is approx 50cm high & the pillar approx 1.5m high & the pavement is narrow, there is risk that it might injure a pedestrian. It would certainly block the pavement on a busy bend of the Wells Road.

The perimeter wall of the house on the Wells road has a displaced stone at the base of a pillar. This has caused the pillar to become unstable. The wall is approx 50cm high, the brick pillar approx 1.75m high & there is a tall, overgrown hedge behind it, putting further pressure on it. If it fell, there would not only be a risk of injury to passers-by but it also would block the pavement. This is a busy bend on the Wells Road so pedestrians would be forced into the road & would be at risk from traffic.
