Gritting Beaufort Road

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6952816.

Hi, today 8th January 2025 Beaufort Road was covered in ice and very slippery. It was not gritted, maybe due to the road closures as part of EBLN? It is a main cycle commuter route with over 500 cycle trips per day. Can this be added to the gritting schedule? Thanks.

  • Thursday 5th February. Beaufort Road not gritted. This is a main commuting route for east bristol residents into the city as well as the local school. At least one child came off their bike on the ice today on the school run. Please add this to the gritting schedule. This is the Wesley Way cycle route part of the Bristol Cycle Network, all 75 miles need to be gritted, these routes are the main commuting corridors for cyclists.
