Tiny cul-de-sac being used by none residential parking illegally (to go shopping, work, pubs etc...) making wheelchairs and pushchairs forced to cross the road.

We have a restricted telephone pole and concrete wall for the angel to enter and exit our driveway (anyone parks opposite makes this very difficult or impossible to do so) we have asked people politely not to park there and they think it's perfectly fine as it's not got double yellow lines even though they have two wheels driving on the pavement, this happens everyday without fault (the photo only shows a few cars opposite when most of the time up to 6 cars block that side of the road).

Also the building opposite is a care home which has a lot of medical attention which means ambulance sometimes cannot reach the patients in an emergency.

This has been an on going issue for a few years of cars being hit repeatedly, we have reported to the police but they simple turnt their heads and said its acceptable (even though it is against the law).

Please help sort this asap as neighbours are now not being friendly to unwelcome visitors.

Using personal property to turn round as they cannot reverse or use turning bay. We have now started parking infront of our driveway to stop people blocking ours and as you can see people still Park on the opposite side causing obstruction.

Need double yellow lines down the road opposite driveways only to solve this whole solution.

This photo shows the size of our street note all driveways normally have two cars in each space so 8 cars for the first lot of driveways. House 2 can 4 cars on driveway. None of us use the opposite side of the road yet all 3 cars in this photo are NOT from this street. Me and another car has started parking in front of our driveways to stop people making it difficult to get out, As you can see it keeps the opposite side of our road clear.

Note people are aware round the corner by the railway tavern pub it not policed therefore people Park there all day means more people parking in our street. We have already had two bollards replaced by drunk driver's it's just ridiculous now!

No emergency services can make it down this street like this!

Records of cars being hit, also put bins in middle of driveways to stop people turning as cars have been hit on private property.

The astray has been parked there all day stopping people from parking opposite, yet this jeep car now pulls up and goes off down the street making it difficult for anyone to use the turning bay and now blocking neighbours van from exiting the street! What happens of our neighbours at the bottom need medical attention?

Everytime time we ring the police they come days later....

  • Police said 2 wheels on the kerb is not an issue. These cars abstruct our driveways, access to a care home, and access to a public access lane. The cement bollards at the top of the road are hit out regularly by poor parking. The congestion in the road means people use our driveways to turn and hit our vehicles, and we cannot have an ambulance get down our road due to large vans parking on the pavements

  • Still open, via questionnaire, 18:53, Sat 7 November 2015

  • Still no response from the council and the problem is getting worse the fact we have had our driveway completely blocked. No point in contacting the police as we have done before as it took them 2 days to come look at the street and even then they would not attempt to go down themselves. Looks like we have to police ourselves nowadays.

I have made you aware of this issue in Bloomfield Road on several occasions... even over-lapping into the road!!!... particularly with the same car. Nothing has ever or will be done, despite several accidents on this corner where views are obstructed and on this dark evenings and poor weather. No one seems to check this despite what we have been told. Someone will get seriously injured. As the council have not taken this seriously despite previous I have advised the police as well as taking this up with the local councillor. In addition to this several residents have considered taking the appropriate action to prevent such dangerous parking.

  • We have a lane running directly from our garage onto Grove Park Road. There is a white line painted across the entrance but cars frequently park there anyway. There is also a lane running parallel to Wick Road and again, frequently people park over the white line at the entrance on Trelawney Park. If both entrances are obstructed we are unable to get out.
