Sunken section of pavement creating tripping hazard, Avonvale Road
Reported via mobile in the Pavements category anonymously at 15:03, Thursday 23 January 2025
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7022507.
Found on the pavement on Avonvale Road by the zebra crossing that crosses to Eccleston House (on the St. Luke’s Church side of the crossing) can be found a section of pavement that has sunk as a direct result of vehicles regularly illegally parking on the pavement. These illegal parking actions have caused a section of the pavement to sink around a water utility valve, creating a tripping hazard.
Please can this uneven section of pavement be relaid to remove the tripping hazard.
Perhaps also implement removable bollards (as has been requested numerous times before by residents) on the pavement to cease the illegal parking that is damaging the pavement surface.
