Fridge Freezer dumped REF 6912395.

Reported via desktop in the Obstruction blocking access category by Anthony Press at 22:12, Saturday 25 January 2025

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7033033.

The location is on part of the footpath leading to the BristoL/Bath Cycle path just below Knightstone Court BS5 7EE. This was originally reported four months ago and BCC decided that it was not a Bristol Waste issue but Parks department. It was BCC who raised the original entry, and presumably they who have decided it can be closed. IT IS A GREAT PITY THEN THAT THE ITEM IS STILL THERE

  • Another three weeks almost....and it' is still there. I really despair at ths apparent lack of interest in removing this item before if becomes a bio hazard,

  • Due to one of the bollards being severed and not in place , the fly tipping has become progressively worse. There are now black bin liners full of food waste causing an exacerbating vermin problem..

  • This has had multiple reports made since at least July 2024, including submission of a complaint. No response received

  • I would put money on it being someone from the flats at Knightstone Court. Some years ago I spotted someone throwing used nappies over the bank onto the main part of Gordon Rd. Those took ages to be removed too.

  • I haven't seen in person, but my daughter informs me that there is now a second fridge at this location. The inaction on this matter is truly incredible. I reported this at the end August 2024. To find that not only is it not cleared, but is growing is a disgrace to the services we pay our Council Tax for.
