Blocked drain at the junction of Freemantle Road and Elmgrove Road

Reported via desktop in the Flooding/Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 18:36, Fri 31 January 2025

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7066650.

Drain blocked by vegetative debris preventing water flow. Water flows on down the road taking debris with it and blocking the gullies further down the hill. Piles of debris left in the gutter and outside the Infant school as these drains are also completely blocked. It also takes the litter along too. This week I collected 634 items of litter from the kerbsides in Elmgrove Road. This stuff is adding to the problem with the vegetative debris. It all needs a thorough clean out, this is what happens when you try to save money by not clearing up the autumnal leaves, it costs more in the end.
