After several years the damage to the pavement still exists

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7174949.

The depressed kerb and uneven pavement is still a serious problem with yet another neighbour mentioning tripping in the wet weather and just avoided falling over completely. Is it beyond expectation for a proper repair to be carried out? The FixmyStreet website shows a number of complaints on this matter. Good job there has been very little snow this winter as I'm sure, having experienced snow covering a damaged pavement causing a pedestrian accident some years ago, that an accident would happen on this well used section of pavement.

It has been about 2 years since someone chalked up the repair area, It is definately time to get the work done - no more delays!

  • No sign of any paint markings demonstrating that the pavement has been inspected recently, and definately no repair carried out.

  • A partial repair has now been completed for the pavement; where the pavement was cracked has been filled in, but a full and proper repair of the whole pavement is still necessary for the safety of pedestrians.
