Dangerous sign concussed me

I entered the footpath from Redcliff Bascule Bridge (Radcliffe Way) on Redcliffe/Phoenix wharf. I walked into the Harbour sign at head height being 6 foot and have a severe gash on my head. Photos are attached.

Please can you either raise or remove this sign as it is a danger to the public
