The underpass flooding has got much worse. The water level has risen, the water is much dirtier and with more rubbish. It is a public health hazard and a disease risk. It is a busy route which many children use to walk to school. There is nothing to stop children or animals from entering the water. It is very poor practice that the council has neglected to deal with this, as it has been like this for weeks.

The underpass drained mostly a few weeks ago, perhaps by the contractors? But within days it had filled again, and there has been no rain. It is clear that it is filling from the ground, up through the drains, or coming in from adjacent river perhaps? It is filled with dirt and rubbish and is truly disgusting, and a health hazard. It needs draining and the source of the incoming water must be addressed.
