Fallen Wall/tree obstructing Lane

Reported via mobile in the Obstruction blocking access category by Ben North at 17:16, Tue 18 March 2025

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7299439.

A tree growing out of a wall pulled the wall and tree down in a storm in November. This completely blocked Happy Lane.

The only action taken has been to fence off + clear the rubble and vegetation slightly to the side of the wall. However, this Lane is used heavily as the access for Sefton Park School and is completely packed several times a day. Someone is clearly aware of the issue since about 4 months ago it was fenced off but no further remedial action has been taken. It's not really acceptable, especially given the need for this particular Lane to be used for prams and mobility scooters.

Is there any update on when it's expected to be fixed properly?

  • This is still causing significant issues, especially to those using mobility aids or those walking along with prams/children in tow.
