Fly tipped furniture & bin men failing to collect majority of waste from bins

Reported via desktop in the Flytipping category anonymously at 00:43, Saturday 22 March 2025

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7317385.

There are 2 issues:

At the far end of the lane a lot of furniture and other waste has been flytipped there over the last few weeks/month. Please can it be collected asap.

Secondly, due to a lot of waste building up in/around the communal bins, the bins have been overflowing. The waste collectors regularly miss our street on collection day, and then when they do come they take less than half the waste that is there, leading to further issues with overflowing bins.

  • Issue has been reported multiple times for nearly a month, still mountains of waste and more stuff being flytipped. Even more waste at the end of the road also.

  • Still rubbish everywhere, broken glass, dangerous sharp bits of metal everywhere, right around the corner from a primary school. Please sort this out as soon as possible, before someone gets hurt!
