Large lorry has uplifted the tarmac

Reported via mobile in the Pavements category anonymously at 17:27, Wed 2 April 2025

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7378531.

Not only a large tire mark making it now uneven and unsafe to put car on drive, child tripped on it..

Told lorry driver what he’d done and was impolitely told to go away.

Fed up of having to get this resurfaced every year to avoid damages to my property.

Last people who laid the tarmac said it was cheap thin stuff that’s why it keeps cracking breaking and denting easily..

Entire path needs resurfacing not just the patch otherwise it’s going to keep happening.

Feel free to bill the driver, who felt it was tough ..

Please can we have this fixed promptly as someone could easily fall down or twist ankle in the dark.

  • Further damaged caused by various vans and Lorrie’s parking outside because of the 2 houses across the roads renovations. Constantly parking there and blocking driveway despite double yellow lines. Cannot see it but 6” dip now so I cannot get car on drive without damaging it.

The entire patch needs re tracking not just the square as this is why it keep getting damaged. Disabled adults x2 at the property, need 24 hour access.
