Newly planted trees needing watering during this dry spell.

Reported via mobile in the Tree in poor health category anonymously at 12:03, Thursday 10 April 2025

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7416083.

I'm delighted that 6 new trees were planted this year. 2 of these were to replace recently planted trees, which had not established themselves. The new trees were planted by a contractor. Who has the responsibility for them now?. I am worried that they may need watering. We've had a long spell of dry weather & their root systems may not go deep enough yet to get the water they need. It is possible that the replaced trees didn't thrive for the same reason.
