Various sunken utility covers

Reported via mobile in the Roads category anonymously at 11:23, Mon 12 May 2025

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7555599.

This section of road has numerous utility covers that have sunken deeply into the road surface, deep enough to behave as potholes which could damage a vehicle. This also causes vehicles to move into the centre of the road which could cause a frontal collision due to the narrowness of the road and limited visibility against the curvature.

  • I also have noticed how the utility cause me to either try to drive around on the rigjhthand side of these covers, near the central barrier. Or near to the curb. Which causes a distraction, when I should looking where I'm going.
