Hedge practically blocking all of the pavement, meaning you have to walk in the road.

Reported via mobile in the Obstruction blocking access category anonymously at 17:23, Mon 12 May 2025

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7558595.

The hedge is completely overgrown and taking up so much of the pavement that you now have to walk in the road. You cant push a buggy or wheelchair on the pavement. It's blocking the view when pulling out of the drive. It's on the corner and down Tilling walk Bs10 5AH. This issue has been for years now but worse in the last year.

  • Issue is getting worse.

Every year, and yet BCC have to spend a year "investigating" the issue.

Hardly cost effective, let alone effective enforcement.

  • This hedge is still growing and it is now virtually impossible to walk on the pavement pass it. A buggy, pram or wheelchair would not be able to go past, they would have to walk in the road making it a safety risk. This hedge has been reported for a couple of years now so I think it is about time something was done about it. There used to be a council regulation to keep your garden tidy, so what has happened to this rule.
