Poor preparation

You are obviously spending a lot of money in resurfacing pavements in the Brentry area, which is to be commended. However poor preparation is rendering the work useless. The attached photos were taken exactly a week after a fresh layer of tarmac was applied, but very clearly no work was done beforehand to kill weeds. Thus in just one week the weeds are breaking through and damaging the surface. As a Council Tax payer, I do object to my money being wasted on poor workmanship. The workmen are presumably just doing what they are told; the planning is wholly inadequate.
