Posted by Bristol City Council at 08:12, Thursday 5 June 2025

  • Bristol City Council and Avon and Somerset Constabulary circulated a joint request to residents of the area not to park on the pavement. Details at https://www.bristol247.com/ news-and-features/ news/ pavement-parking-surge-prompts-police-crackdown/

This is scheduled to be followed by enforcement action.

IF the EBLN trial is made permanent, there is potential for changes to parking restrictions in the area.

  • Still open, via questionnaire, 08:38, Thursday 3 July 2025

  • Has any enforcement been carried out? The pavement obstruction has persisted since the modal filters were put in. There are a few cones placed opposite junctions, which drivers do now seem to respect. But the pavement remains impassable for pedestrians.
