Wapping Road is missing double yellow lines after resurfacing
Reported via desktop in the Roads category by James Perkins at 11:08, Tuesday 10 June 2025
Sent to Bristol City Council 6 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 7687238.
It's been over 5 weeks since Wapping Road was unncessarily resurfaced and the double yellow lines have not been repainted, leading to people parking in silly areas, blocking the road, which backs up from the temporary traffic lights for the restoration of the swing bridge. This needs to be fixed before somebody gets knocked off their bike.

When will the double yellow lines be reinstated . The lack of them is leading to vehicles being parked all along Wapping Rd causing congestion and delay .

Wapping Road’s double yellows still haven’t been repainted after the re-surfacing several weeks ago. The resulting parking means there isn’t space for cars to drive both ways causing traffic jams and cars having to drive on the pavement. This obviously puts pedestrians at risk.
