Low hanging sharp branches and thorns at head and eye level

Reported via iOS in the Low tree branches category anonymously at 12:09, Sun 29 June 2025

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7780503.

There are several low hanging branches, sharply cut and thorny over growing the pavement from the garden of 50 Lake Road, the neighbour refuses to raise this and says he wants it to overhang the pavement.

The branches are dangerous and have caused Scratches and cuts. Anyone over 5’10 is at risk from wind moving. The branches as you walk past.

Please could the canopy be raised to a less dangerous level and the roses/brambles be cut back to the boundary?
