Dogs keep biting a tree in the down

Reported via mobile in the Tree in poor health category anonymously at 14:53, Friday 4 July 2025

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7809724.

Dear Sir/Madam, There are some dogs keep damaging a tree in the downs, that tree is getting continuously damaged over weeks & weeks. The owner does not stop their dogs biting/damaging that tree. And, those dogs are keep attacking the same tree. Would you be able to put a fence surrounding a tree to protect it please ? The dog’s owner have a responsibility to protect the downs and the environment by stopping their dogs doing these. The tree is located opposite Wesley Place at upper belgrave road. In front of the tree there is a chair. One of the picture I attached is exactly at upper belgrave road ( I circled that tree).

I sincerely hope your team can take action to save the tree located opposite Wesley Place.

Many thanks in advance Kind regards Taffy
