Lock on gate broken by travellers

Reported via desktop in the Wall/Fence/Gate damage category anonymously at 00:30, Sunday 6 July 2025

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7814803.

The lock on this gate was broken when the travellers broke into Sea Mills Recreation ground. A bike D-lock has been temporarily put on the gate to prevent unauthorised access whilst waiting for the gate to be fixed (contact me for access). This lock needs to be fixed and ideally the security of this gate improved. It has been broken by travellers twice in the last year to gain access to Sea Mills Recreation ground.
