The grass verge is neither for cars to drive on in order to pass other vehicles or for parking on.

The grass verge is not for boulders either. Nor do residents own that land to obstruct it.

Anyone who can’t drive without mounting the pavement should probably not be in control of a car. The small rocks will stay, as, if removed, parents visiting nursery, lake members or people using area as a park & ride will park illegally on the verge. Small rocks are preferable to the verges becoming muddy from vehicles driving on them. It is also against the law to drive on the pavement. The small rocks also help keep the pavement safe and clear for pedestrians.
