Litter accumulation

Reported in the Street cleaning category anonymously at 12:39, Thu 17 March 2016

Sent to Bristol City Council 1 minute later

Complaint - litter accumulation over many months ignored by council. A403 a disgrace. I will issue a litter abatement order unless I hear what measures are being taken to litter pick verges, laybys and roundabouts.

  • The litter issue is obvious

Extensive grade D accumulation throughout length of A403

Neglect of dutys under EPA (Environmental Protection Act 1990) Section 89 (1) Duty to keep land and highways clear of litter

  • No action on any of the highlighted areas. Flailing and die back had highlighted the significant issue. Spring growth has hidden a lot of the litter.
