Parking close to drive entrance makes safe exit impossible

Reported via desktop in the Obstruction blocking access category anonymously at 09:16, Mon 28 July 2025

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7941294.

The driveway of 28 and 30 Hazelwood road is repeatedly obscured for safe exit onto the main road by vehicles parking too close to the driveway entrance. It is impossible to see oncoming cars up the hill as there is insufficient view. On multiple occasions, edging out slowly still results in meeting oncoming vehicles and an emergency stop is required by both parties.

This has been the case for many months.

In other cases vehicles park overlapping the drive edge preventing the ability to turn right onto the main road.

Placing double yellow lines for a suitable distance would alleviate this accident-prone issue.
