Large Hole with Sharp Edges

Reported via mobile in the Pavements category anonymously at 14:19, Wed 30 July 2025

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7955047.

Large hole with a metal strip in the middle. Represents a trip hazard and risk of cutting due to sharp metal edges.

Updates

  • A new enquiry has been raised for this issue.

  • This issue has gotten much worse. The broken floor tiles now span twice the width of the original photo and the metal support is bent out of shape making it extrude even more dangerously. It's hard to see at night and is a trip hazard for pedestrians and a fall risk for cyclists coming down the slope even slowly. It could very easily cause punctures and wheel rim damage.

  • This problem continues to get worse. The pedestrian environment around Lawrence Hill Roundabout is completely unacceptable.
