Over growing trees leaving very low clearance for pedestrians.

Reported via mobile in the Low tree branches category by Brandon Ashford at 15:24, Fri 1 August 2025

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7966347.

The branches from the trees along the footpath have grown to a level where the overhang requires pedestrians to duck to avoid being hit by the branches as they walk along the path. This has been an issue throughout summer to far and will continue to be an issue. They need trimming back to leave a much higher clearance over the pathway.

Updates

  • A new enquiry has been raised for this issue.

Posted by Bristol City Council at 15:24, Fri 1 August 2025

  • This issue remains untouched, and the trees continue to encroach further onto the pathway. This means residents are continuing to have to duck to use the pathway to avoid the overhang. As the weather is shifting away from summer, with more wet weather due to come, this will make the pathway more unsafe.
