Noise Pollution

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8007332.

There is an EXTREMLY loud rocking coming from a manhole cover that has been repaired twice. It is now causing a huge disturbance day and night and you cant get any sleep at night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please get this sorted asap. And please ensure that it is not a bodge job again so it does not keep on happening. ( on and off since April 25)

    I live in Hill street, Totterdown. That is 6 streets away from this manhole and the noise travels over the whole neighbourhood. How long does it take to investigate Bristol council? Fix it please, this has been going on for a long time

  • I live opposite and have to have windows shut at night AND earplugs. I can hear it all day when i am working. I feel like investigating a claim for distress. Its like someone banging a drum all night. Its driving me insane and trashing my sleep.

  • This noise is VERY loud and judging from previous comments this is affecting a lot of people. This needs to be dealt with as a priority please!
