The same wet derelict tent I have reported twice already

Reported via desktop in the Flytipping category anonymously at 21:33, Friday 5 September 2025

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8126597.

You keep closing this issue, but the same tent is wandering its way round the park in the wind. I would say its a health hazard. You say its on private property but it is NOT unless you have privatised the park in which case - whole new kettle of fish. I dont know whether this is BCC or Fixmystreet but every time I reoprt something it takes at LEAST three goes to get it fixed despite you marking it as fixed. Dont know whats going on down there in city hall but it smells of fudge and sleight of hand to me. Please fix this or I am going to go to the newspapers. I cannot imagine its that dfiffivults unless you are run by penpusshers and click boxers instead of real people getting out and doing stuff. GETTING VERY FRUSTRATED. Can you please at least provide an explanation about HOW you have "fixed" the issue???

Updates

  • Thank you for taking the time to report fly- tipping to Bristol City Council. We will aim to remove the fly- tip within 3 days, but this depends on its size, scale, location, or whether the fly tip is hazardous.

Reducing levels of fly tipping is important so please share any evidence of who is doing it with the council.

  • Is this fixed yet?

  • Thank you for dealing with this. What did I do wrong in my orginal reports that caused it to be closed without taking any action? Let me know if it was the incorrect ///w3w code, or if I reported it to the wrong depattment. Cheers

    State changed to: Fixed
