Flooding on pavement at new pedestrian crossing
Reported via mobile in the Flooding/Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 14:14, Sunday 7 September 2025
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8131545.
Since completion of the roadworks and installation of the new pedestrian crossings at Kingsway / Bryant’s Hill each time it rains the roadside floods and puddles deeply on to the pavement - at the crossing point opposite the Sainsbury’s garage (top of Rossiters Lane) meaning you can’t actually cross by the lights. This never used to flood prior to these works - it is not a blocked drain as there isn’t one, it seems to be to do with the slope of the road surface. .

The flooding issue at the traffic lights continues to be a problem. This has been reported since June. When will there be an update and more importantly when will the problem be fixed?
